Community-wide Computer Science Event

IndeedWeCode, in conjunction with the city of Richmond Heights, the Richmond Coders, local entrepreneurs, community leaders and proud citizens is pleased to announce to all residents and friends of Richmond Heights that Thursday, April 27, 2017 is the date of the city’s first-ever student-led intergenerational CSforAll 2017 celebration at the Richmond Heights Secondary School technology HUB. From 4-9PM that day a smorgasbord of activities will be offered to residents of all ages to celebrate the city's "state-of-the-art" facility. Whether you want to learn how to code, or build apps, create a website or play computer games there will be something exciting to enjoy. If you want to know more about social media—Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or make better use of that new smart phone or tablet your interest will be accommodated. Our intergenerational team of student coding leaders and IT professionals is designing an amazing schedule of interactive experiences. Tours of the HUB to discover it as a “smart” meeting site with presentation tools and virtual communication capabilities will be provided. Activities will be free, family-friendly, fun, informative and accessible to the handicapped. Sensitive to the needs of all, special areas will be designated for "kids only" and will feature a Seniors-only Welcome Suite. The primary goal will be participation by as many residents as possible. CSforAll 2017 will be one of the most innovative Richmond Heights centennial celebration events.
